Sweet and Light: My Unfortunate Boyfriend

The reason why I started watching this at the first place was for the sake of No Minwoo. I didn't expect that it would be so good that I finished them all within 24 hours. I mean- it's a freakin' 16 episodes drama.

As you can see, the poster doesn't convince you enough right? Look at those curly hair and flowers around him. It makes him look cheesy. Gah.

Wonder why he should had those kind of hair :(

But if you wanna watch something sweet and light, this might be a right choice! I laughed a lot while watching the first episode. A lot of non-sense things seemed to be alright. The writers really knew how to grab the viewers' attention.

Me watching the first episode

PLOTS
Honestly, the opening wasn't necessary. Yoon Taewoon (played by No Minwoo) fell into a pond and what?! He was kinda awkward and cute at the same time (sorry I'm so biased). He was popular as Mr. Unfortunate. And so he met this girl named Jina, she was an ambitious who came from a poor background. She got a rival since she attended the job interview and the boss kinda had a lovespark towards her and so on. The relationship progress of Taewoon and Jina was rather weird, but it was fun to watch in some ways. They had too many coincidences- just like they were meant to be. Again, drama is a drama.
And yes, Jina's rival and the boss would get in their ways. You might get bored for several minutes during the boss' airing time (because I skipped some of his scenes) but don't worry, Taewoon's awkwardness will bring you back to watch it again.
In the second half, you can see a lot of cute moments, you sweet-drama-lovers. And finally at the end, you'll figure out that Taewoon is more than just a Mr. Unfortunate. (I guess you should've guess it by now!)
Oh man, I really want to write a lot but then they're all spoilers. So let me show you this one:

Say hi to Kkang Chong! He is one of the best supporting character lol

CASTS
No Minwoo!! He was like a perfect fit of Taewoon's character. Awkward, innocent (or dumb) and... awkward. I couldn't help his awkwardness in the whole series but then he knew how to be sweet too, aaaaw. Like seriously, where in the earth can you find a man like him? He never fell in love and he only talked to the plants (and Kkang Chong). He could make you go asfwghejhjkl, he really acted so well! The only thing I didn't like from him was... his hair (and how skinny he was). As for Jina, I never watched Yang Jinsung's drama before but I think she's  okay. At the second half, their chemistry got even better. But I don't really like the one who played as the boss though. He didn't make me suffer with a 'second-lead syndrome' which mean he is just... a no. And for Jina's rival, I thought she was going to be an evil? Turned out that she was nice!

But the best cast still goes to....
I love Kkang Chong

OVERALLS
For someone who likes a light drama, I like this one! It was refreshing and doesn't require a lot of energy to think lol. It was one of the best rom-com, I'd say. Although it wasn't very popular, I guess?
Sweet-dramas-lovers, you should watch it and tell me how you think about it. At least, you'd giggle in the first episode!

Saving a Life with a Show: Wanted

Who is currently watching this drama? Honestly when I first saw the preview, I wasn't really interested with it. But because I love dramas with detectives and criminals inside, I decided to give it a go. Said that I'd review it after it ends, guess I'll do while I'm on it (might edit it later).

Uh.. don't really like the poster tbh

Wanted is an on-going drama about a top actress, Jung Hyein (played by Kim Ahjoong) who lost her son. Well, you might find this similar with Gods Gift - 14 Days, although it has a little more complicated story.

PLOTS
I expected a better plot on this one but... oh oh. This drama is kind of a dramaception. To put it simple, Hyein got a mail asking her to film a reality show named 'Wanted' in order to save Hyunwoo. I first thought 'How are they going to go with this one...'- I mean a show within a show?  They need to film a 10-episodes-show with different missions each day to get Hyunwoo back. The missions are somehow related (or maybe not) and it's kinda unclear sometimes. Can you imagine about how are you going to finish a mission within few hours and the mission was like 'Reveal who killed Mr. X'? It was impossible to be done but drama is a drama.

The first episode was so-so in my opinion. It was quite okay because it could make me go for the second one. Although the whole mission thing doesn't really make sense for me now, maybe it will be clear in the later episode (hope so). But anyway, the 7th episode got me tired... I'm bored already. The current kidnapper has been revealed- but I'm 100% sure there is someone else behind this. I'm just curious on how this would end.

CASTS
As for the casts... I was a bit disappointed. Kim Ahjoong wasn't really able to deliver how desperate she was after her kid was being kidnapped. She showed us the character of a cold mother...? Maybe she was showing her depression in a different way- for example: she didn't care if the TV show would kill others as long as she could find Hyunwoo. The writers probably will explain the reason why (is she so cold) in the future (let's hope so because I freakin' need an explanation on everything! Gah). For the PD-nim... he doesn't really hold a big role, does he? He is third on the cast list but I feel like it's gonna okay if the show was going without him? And the old man seemed to have something hidden. This is what we need to find out. The detectives are doing well, not the best though. Especially to be compared with Gods Gift - 14 Days or Signal's casts.

What do you think about this? Doesn't she look like a news anchor?

OVERALLS
Just an 'okay' one. Not saying this should go on your 'must-watch-list' but you can give it a try when you're out of dramas. I recommend you to watch this first if you're going to watch Gods Gift - 14 Days later.

Pump Your Adrenaline: Gods Gift - 14 Days

I have always been a fan of detective-and-serial-killer kind of drama. It's just amazing how the writers could make me think so hard about who the suspect was, how the crimes were done and how would they finally come to a revelation. The most jaw-opening part is when I just felt like I know who the suspect was, they twisted me up. And I was like 'Oh God, seriously?!'

Yeah, you can taste the sweet and sourness in every episode. It kinda feels like riding a roller coaster I swear- fun and thrilling at the same time.

I am currently watching 'Wanted', an on-going drama about a mother who lost her son (prolly reviewing it after it ends), but then it just reached the 8th episode. How am I supposed to wait the whole thing to end, sobs. So I decided to watch another similar drama called 'Gods Gift - 14 Days'.

It's not a new drama anyway. It was released in 2014 with Lee Boyoung as the main female lead.

The poster seemed so thrilling, wasn't it?

I thought it's just gonna be an 'okay' drama. But after I watched the first episode, wow, I can't even bother to think about anything else but the drama itself.

SYNOPSIS
There's a mother, named Kim Soohyun who worked as a writer in the broadcasting industry and her husband was a prosecutor. They lived a good life until one day she met a woman telling her that she'd lose something precious in her life. At first, she didn't really give a damn about it. Then they got to film a program related to criminal things. That time, there was a huge fuzz about a serial killer and so on. Suddenly, the suspect called, saying that he got bored of killing women and wanted to try a new victim- which turned out to be their daughter, Saetbyeol. Soohyun was so desperate to find her child and willing to do anything. But then Saetbyeol's body was found in a lake. Soohyun felt like her world just ended by the death of her daughter. So she decided to suicide in that lake and tadah! a miracle happened. She was taken back to 14 days before Saetbyeol died. Everything was repeated like it used to be. She wasn't alone- on the other hand Ki Dongchan also time-travelled together with her. (You need to find out who Ki Dongchan is by watching the drama yourself!) And so, their journey to save Saetbyeol was started.

 They're so so cute!

CASTS
They did a great job in choosing the casts. Lee Boyoung was a perfect fit to play a protective mother - those kind who nags a lot, expecting her kids to do well at school and stuffs. Not to forget about Kim Yoobin, she is so adorable and her acting is no joke! I can say that she is one of the best child actress. As for Cho Seungwoo, actually I never watched him before but he did a good job! Moreover, I didn't expect Baro to be so good in playing a dumb boy. He was all cool in his group (B1A4) and I never thought that he was able to hit it so well. Although I found it a bit odd that Saetbyeol was a huge fan of that so-called 'Snake'; I mean that group was weird and the genre was not suitable for her age but well, a drama is a drama. Although, thanks to Snake, I was able to see No Minwoo lol. Anyway, all casts did their parts so nicely! Yay!

TWISTS
You will never expect the super annoying plot twist in this drama. In the first episode, you will see a woman named Minah. I never thought that she was something else- she had quite an unpredictable role in the future episode. And I don't know how many times I was being deceived by the writers :(
You might think 'Yes, I know that he was the serial killer'- but when the drama reached the last 2-3 episodes.... you just don't know anymore. It'll kill you slowly with your curiosity and you'd cry when you get to the last episode because it wasn't something that you might want to expect. Happy ending? Yes, it is a happy ending though... but it's also confusing at the same time. I don't know how should I describe it but well, you'll be like asfegdjekdkehjwkwl when you watch it 'til the end.

Me after watching the final episode

Overall, it's such a great drama! I finished it within 2 nights- I slept in the morning because it was just so nerve-wrecking and you might not be able to control your own feeling (well- ok no actually I love to sleep in the morning lol). My opinion is... just... don't watch the last 15 minutes of the 16th episode. Just don't.

This is my personal opinion though.

NOTES
Anyway, please leave a comment if you watch this drama too (or if you want me to review a drama) hehe. I know I'm new in this reviewing-thingy but I hope it helps!
It's kinda dusty here (-I mean this blog) because I have no guest around. I'd love to see someone, pleaseeee >///<
See ya!

Hello!

Hello, Korean fans around the world!

Lol, this is not necessary but I feel like doing it- please pardon me. I'm gonna introduce myself first before writing more paragraphs *coughs*

My name is Gwyn. I decided to start this blog because of my overwhelming love towards K-dramas. HAHA.
(well, I'm actually on my holiday now so I think it's gonna worth my time too instead of doing nothing)

As for my blog's name 'Hello, Noona!' - I know that it's kinda weird because I'm a girl yet I go for Noona instead of Oppa. But.... Oppa sounds too cheesy for me. So let's pretend there's a younger man (reader) calling me by saying 'Hello, Noona!' lol. I got it after some discussions with my friends and sisters though. It's easy to remember anyway, isn't it?

Fyi, I'm also a fan of K-pop and everything Korean. It started in 2010 and I don't think it's gonna end, oops. [You may drop a comment below to discuss about it further]

Soooo, I'll be doing some reviews on the dramas I've watched or currently watching. It'll be based on my personal opinions though- I hope no one will be offended, alright? (wondering who'll read this tbh)
I mostly watched those popular dramas, school dramas and detective kind of dramas. Wish that it'll help you guys to find some suitable K-dramas to watch too! You can also ask me to review some dramas if you're too lazy to start with one. I might be able to help hehe.

Anyway,
Enjoy!
